After an abject Batting display from Inzi's men (albeit on a green wicket), Ireland won with several overs to spare and 3 wickets in hand.
The defeat leaves Pakistan with zero points from two matches, meaning they shall return home after their next match against Zimbabwe. A shock for most cricket fans, I had privately thought of Pakistan as a likely winner.
Where will this defeat leave Bob Wolmer and Inzamum-ul-Haq, I for one hope that they don't get made a scapegoat, but Pakistan are an extremely proud cricketing nation, and feelings will be running high.
Ireland now need Pakistan to beat Zimbabwe to progress to the Super 8.
